Swing dansları ile bir süredir ilgileniyorum. Benim için öğretilen bilgi kadar kurduğum iletişim, aldığım destek de çok önemli bir faktördür. Ben sadece haftanın bir günü dans edip sadece dans konuşan bir öğrenci değil, bir sorunum olduğunda, kendimi kötü ya da iyi hissettiğimde bunu açıkça yansıtan biriyim. Bu noktada kurduğum iletişime oldukça karşılık aldım; hem heyecanımı hem üzüntümü hem neşemi paylaşabildim. Bunun yanında birebir çalışabildiğim bir ders olması ben ne kadar farklı yerlerden (teorik, pratik) bilgi öğrenmek istediysem hepsine karşılık bulmak beni daha da fazla motive etti.

Going to Ceren’s classes always made me happy. It did not matter if it was a swing dance lesson or a solo jazz class, Ceren is always professional, in a good mood and knows how to explain steps and patterns to you and keeping it fun. No matter what, she has a smile to offer and makes you feel like your questions are welcome. She does not judge you. This is something I really appreciate. It is not easy to be a good dancer all the time, but Ceren never makes you feel like you are not. It always felt like I belonged, even when I was being a slow learner. So thank you! Ceren’den 6 hafta boyunca solo caz başlangıç seviye dans dersleri aldım. Bu 6 hafta boyunca solo cazın temel seviye hareket bilgisi edindim. Online olarak yapılan dersler oldukça eğlenceli ve tüm bu eğitim evimin konforunda gerçekleşti. Ceren her dans hareketini, eğitime katılan herkesin kavraması için tekrar tekrar göstermekten bıkmayan bir eğitmen. Ses tonu ve enerjisi sayesinde pandemi günlerinde hayatıma tatlı bir dokunuş gerçekleşti. Ceren'in dans derslerinin diğer seviye eğitimlerine de devam etmeyi planlıyorum.

Onun o tatlı dans stüdyosunda geçirdiğimiz 1 saatte kendimizi 1900’lerin başına ışınlanmış gibi hissediyoruz. Pandemi döneminde tüm tedbirleri alarak yaptığımız derslerde öğrendiklerimizi yasaklar bittiği zaman dans gecelerinde kullanmak için sabırsızlanıyoruz.
